How To Run A Program In Compatibility Mode In Windows 7

Run Program In Compatibility Mode :

If you observe that a program is running well at previous version of windows ( windows XP, windows vista) but at windows 7 it run poorly or not at all. You can try to run this program in Compatibility Mode at Windows 7.

Here is a quick way to run a program in compatibility mode:

1 .  Right-click on the setup file of your selected program before install and select Properties.

Or’ If a program is not working correctly after the successful installation, right-click on its Start menu entry(or desktop) application file and then select Properties.

2. After the properties is opened, switch to Compatibility tab.

 3. Under the Compatibility tab, enable Run this program in compatibility mode for option and from the drop down list select Vista SP2 or XP SP3.

4. Click Apply button.

Now execute the program to run in compatibility mode.
