How to Set Windows 7 or Windows XP as your Default Operating System in Boot Menu

Choose Default Operating System in Boot Menu

If you use dual or more than one operating system at your machine you can set any of the Operating system as your Default operating system in boot menu.





Here I will show you how to set Windows 7 as your default OS in the boot menu :
  • Open System Configuration utility or type msconfig in Start menu search field and hit enter.
  • In the System Configuration box, click to Boot tab.
  • Here you can the default OS in the boot menu.
    • First select Windows 7 in the list and hit set as Default button.
  • Click Apply button.
  • Reboot your machine to see the change.
